Nashville, known to be the American home of country music, is the last place that you would expect to find a young and exciting electro and progressive house producer. DJRP has been able to find a niche sound that marries an array of influences and production techniques that range from the big bass of hip hop and electro to the intricate melodies of alternative rock and progressive house.
Eclectic, witty mixing and song selection along with great crowd control and a clever mic presence has landed DJRP behind the decks at shows that featured LMFAO, Mac Miller, Sean Kingston, Shwayze and Milk n Cookies to name a few. DJRP has landed festival and club gigs across the Midwest and South East, including shows in Ohio, Illinois, Tennessee, and Florida.
From his first official mix, “The Come Up”, to his bi monthly podcast, ELIXIR Radio, DJRP has found a DJ style that keeps electro and progressive house fresh. Managing to channel his audiences to new music, DJRP has also been able to turn heads with his original productions, “Ain’t Nothin”, "Bangerade (Let's Go)", "Waterguns & Hand Grenades" [Electric Fist Recordings], and his debut EP "Insomniac" (Out August 5th) [Electric Fist Recordings]. DJRP is currently working on new material and continuing to tour and take gigs across the country. Expect to see DJRP in a city near you in the near future, as he is prepared to take the house scene by storm
